TYPES OF OPENERS

Screw Drive Openers:

A motor rotates a threaded steel rod as a trolley rides on it in screw-drive systems. Due to its lack of parts, these openers are generally maintenance-free and include a steel screw that engages directly with the motor in the opener. They are the noisiest to open a garage door.

Belt Drive Openers:

A belt-drive opener uses a rubber belt rather than a chain, which makes them quiet in operation. They are a smooth-motion alternative to chain-drive openers. These openers are durable and can last for many years.

Chain Drive Openers:

With chain-drive openers, the trolley is connected to the motor by a chain. Because of metal-to-metal contact and vibration, these systems are loud and clunky, but they are the least expensive form of garage door operating system available. Jackshaft-Drive Opener:
