Saturday morning went to leave for the day and pressed my garage door, it tried to open but then began flashing. I disconnected the garage door opener from the garage door to lift up the door manually. That’s when I realized the torsion spring was probably broken. I did a search for garage door repair near me and 716 Garage Door Repair showed up – great reviews and great star rating. So I called them at 11 am and they told me Kevin can be at my house between 2-4. Kevin then called me to let me know he was 30 minutes out, and arrived around 3. We went over the options, and I went with a much more robust torsion spring with 5 year warranty. Price was a bit more than expected, however with the current economic conditions that we are in, it didn’t surprise me too much. Plus you get what you pay for – this was quality work from a quality technician and company. Kevin was super nice, explained options, and was a thorough and great worker. And when he completed the install, he went over maintenance that I should be doing on a semi annual basis. Highly recommend this company! Great job! ~BoC_Rob

We needed some additional work done on our garage door opener in November. Our technician Sean was thorough and professional during his visit. He and Matthew had things working in no time. Highly recommend this company.
Kevin from 716 Garage Door Repair was very personable and professional. We had an issue with our door opener and he had it working literally in seconds. Upon looking over the assembly he identified our rollers were quite worn and recommended we consider replacing them in the near future. My husband and I asked if he had time now and he handled the replacement immediately. The door not only works, it is so much quieter. Just had my garage door opener replaced. My old one was 25+ years old, and it always had issues when the weather was the worst, so I decided to have it replaced. I was thinking about going to Lowe’s to buy and use their installation service, but there were other parts that I needed to purchase for this job and I really didn’t know what all I needed. I saw 716 Garage Door’s ad and search them online., call and asked for an estimate. It was a little more compared to the other way, but I didn’t need to worry about all the parts and it comes with a 5-yr warranty, so it is good value. Kevin is courteous and knowledgeable. He also recommended I change the springs, he said they were too much for my door. I actually heard this same comment before when one of the springs broke and I had it replaced, the tech said I only needed one large spring instead of 2. So this was what Kevin said, too. I opted for one larger spring instead of 2 smaller ones. He helped me set up the keypad and the button on my car, too. I recommend this service. ~Bonnie T
